CODE OF CONDUCT POLICY
WEAPONS: No guns or weapons are allowed on the property, concealed or otherwise.
HARASSING, OFFENSIVE OR VIOLENT BEHAVIOR: The following acts are strictly prohibited: physically or verbally threatening any person; fighting; annoying others through noisy or boisterous activities; staring at or stalking a person at the center; using profane or sexually offensive language or conduct or in any way creating a disturbance which interferes, disrupts, or endangers center patrons; throwing objects or spitting on the floors.
LOITERING: Loitering; hanging out; sitting on floors, planters, or trash cans; leaning on hand rails; blocking hallways, storefronts, fire exits, or corridors; and congregating or walking in groups in such a way as to inconvenience others or impede traffic flow is not permitted.
NOISE: Yelling; singing; or playing musical instruments, radios, and tape players is not allowed. Loud music or noise from any source including car sound systems is not permitted.
ATTIRE: Appropriate attire is required (shirt, pants, and shoes). Profane, offensive or antagonistic slogans or graphics will not be permitted. Offensive attire includes lewd or extreme dress or anything which may offend the sensitivities of others. Undergarments must not be visible.
ALCOHOL: Alcoholic beverages shall not be brought onto the property by patrons. Consumption of alcoholic beverages and open alcoholic beverages are not permitted except inside the establishments which are permitted by law to sell them.
LITTER: Littering or damaging center property is prohibited. Patrons are expected to use trash cans to dispose of litter.
ANIMALS: Animals, other than service animals (e.g. seeing-eye dogs), are not allowed.
BIKES/SKATEBOARDS/ROLLERBLADES: The use of skates, skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles, or similar equipment is prohibited.
SOLICITATION: Solicitation or sale of goods without permission of management is strictly prohibited.
TRUANCY: Ridgewood Shopping Center does not permit truancy during school time hours.
PHOTOGRAPHY: Photography, videotaping, or similar recordations are strictly prohibited without explicit permission from the management. Failure to obey these rules or to comply with lawful and reasonable requests by the Ridgewood Shopping Center Management, Special Police or Security will result in your being asked to leave the property. If you refuse to leave, management may summons the police and you may be arrested and prosecuted for criminal trespass.

YOUTH SUPERVISION POLICY
Visitors at Ridgewood Shopping Center who are 16 years of age or younger are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, 21 years or older, at all times from 12:00pm-5:00pm, Monday – Friday.
Any person violating the Youth Supervision Policy or any other part of the Code of Conduct will be asked to leave the property. Any person violating the Youth Supervision Policy or the Code of Conduct who refuse to leave the property when requested to do so may be prosecuted for criminal trespass.
Visitors appearing to be 16 years of age or younger should be prepared to show valid identification (with picture and date of birth) if requested to do so. Examples of valid identification include: a driver’s license, state or military identification card, passport or visa. Those whose age cannot be determined and who lack identification will be asked to leave the property if they appear to be younger than 16 years of age.
Youths 16 years of age or younger who work for Ridgewood Shopping Center will be allowed to access the premises without a parent or guardian during business hours. Youth employees must furnish proof of work status if management requests them to do so. Youth employees must report directly to their place of employment and must leave the property at the conclusion of their work shift if it ends between 12:00pm-5:00pm on Mondays-Fridays, unless if they remain at the shopping center with a parent or guardian.
Ridgewood Shopping Center’s management reserves the right to determine what number of underage guests in a group is appropriate to be supervised by the accompanying adult.
The Youth Supervision Policy will be posted in a conspicuous place at the shopping center.
This policy is not all-inclusive. The Ridgewood Shopping Center management reserves the right to modify the policy at any time, as needed.
Ridgewood Shopping Center is private property, and no rights shall accrue to the public by virtue of the public’s entry into this property.
Neither the Youth Supervision Policy nor any other portion of the Code of Conduct is intended to deprive any person of their applicable civil rights or liberties under federal or North Carolina law. If you feel your rights are being violated, please notify shopping center management

PATRONS: In order to provide all Ridgewood Shopping Center guests with an enjoyable shopping experience please observe our Posted Parking Policies throughout the center and park only in designated parking spaces. In the event your vehicle was towed from Ridgewood Shopping Center please contact our office or Ace Towing at 919-821-2121.
EMPLOYEES: In order to provide Ridgewood Shopping Center guests with an enjoyable shopping experience, all employees of Ridgewood Shopping Center Tenants must park in the lower level parking lot or along Ridge Road only where marked.
